
Each year 30-40, local high school juniors and senior in Allen County are recognized for showing strong leadership skills and for being fantastic role models. Reed Doneghy, was recognized yesterday at the Lima Noon Optimist meeting during their Youth Appreciation Week.

Congratulations to Elizabeth Simmons, Adilena Howell, Madeline Brunner, Kristie Evans, Aidan Scheckelhoff, Karlee Helmig and Isabella John on having their artwork accepted in the Kewpee High School Invitational Exhibition at Artspace/Lima. This exhibit features the best art from students around the region! The Opening Reception will be Friday, February 11, from 6:30 to 8:00 pm. The exhibit will be on display from February 11 through February 26, 2022, during regular business hours. ArtSpace is open from 10:00 to 5:00 pm Tuesday through Saturday.


Mr. Stollyβs Geometry students, Aaron Hutchins, Braedon Lybarger & Kaitlyn Seffernick volunteered to complete 3 problems on the board (Finding Areas of Sectors) Once completed they demonstrate solutions to the class. Thanks to all of the students who volunteer during class time!

The girls golf team had their state golf championship rings blessed by at mass. Congrats girls!

Senior Math Students in Mr. Stollyβs class chose 18 stocks to put into a portfolio. They had a $200,000 limit and diversified that portfolio based on class discussion. We will track progress each Friday and see where we are on their last day here at Lima Central Catholic.


Congratulations to Bridget Mulcahy, Emma Frueh, Gavin Caprella and Kaelan Howard for having "Papa Bear" choose their proposal for distributing retirement funds in Mrs. Thompson's Problem Solving Class.
