The Conceptual Math class went to a “Real Money Real World” event sponsored by Superior Credit Union at UNOH Event Center. This event simulates real life expenses based on a job that is randomly chosen for each student and a number of children you are raising at different ages. For Example, Mehki Cook, was Insurance Appraiser and he had no children; Where Karlee Helmig was an Auditor and had one child who was 1 year old. They did four lessons in class before attending and figured out how to budget and handle money including savings accounts.
The class really enjoyed the event and is appreciative that LCC offered this opportunity to them. They would also like to thank Superior Credit Union and UNOH for sponsoring the event!
