Senior Capstone Project

Lima Central Catholic implemented a senior capstone project as a graduation requirement beginning with the Class of 2015. This project is designed for the student to orally present a combined research project and to provide a power point presentation which details the relevance of their topic to the community. Each senior is offered a faculty mentor and is given a list of their expected rubrics. The presentations are approximately 15 minutes long and are presented to a panel of judges. The intent of this requirement is to prepare students for college where they will have many project-based learning experiences. Capstone presentations are typically given during the month of March.
