Accreditation
Lima Central Catholic High School is currently accredited by the OCSAA – Ohio Catholic School Accrediting Association. Full membership in the association is available to any Catholic school in Ohio that is recognized by the Bishop of the diocese in which it is located. Full member schools apply for re-accreditation every six years. LCC is a full member and was fully accredited in June of 2022.
In keeping with the mission of the OCSAA, this accreditation process has as its hallmark a commitment to continuous improvement. As each school engages in strategic planning, it moves toward the vision of a high performing school in which students are grounded in their faith life and achieve at high levels.
LCC has a Continuous Improvement Plan which consists of one Catholic Identity goal: “The students of Lima Central Catholic High School will become more knowledgeable about their Catholic faith while participating in opportunities to enrich their spirituality” and one Student Performance goal: “Students of Lima Central Catholic High School will grow in their ability to apply critical thinking skills across the curriculum.” The accreditation process will begin again in the Fall of the 2027-2028 school year.
Lima Central Catholic is also a member in good standing of the National Catholic Educational Association (NCEA).
