8 sophomore girls attended the OSU Lima Stem Steps Day Monday, March 11. They heard from a keynote speaker who is a woman in medicine. They also experienced several hands-on workshops all related to the field of Science, Technology, Engineering and Math. It was a great day of learning!

Congratulations to Olivia Hinegardner, Stella Ellis, and Olivia Venturella for best presentation of their quadrilateral… The trapezoid! Each group was assigned a quadrilateral to present to the class for fun and unique way. These girls made a fun board game that included trivia, and a great review of all of the mathematical properties of a trapezoid. Congratulations!
