Students participated in a pumpkin decorating contest. They were paired with their Walk and Talk Partners for this activity. Staff and faculty will vote for the most creative pumpkin, and the winners will be awarded Thunderpoints!

Congratulations to Maria Pignataro and Emma Skinner on an outstanding high school tennis career! Though they came up just short in the District showdown, we are so proud of their efforts. A huge congratulations to Claire Janowski and Alexa Heffner for their victory and advancing to the State Tournament! They will compete next Thursday at Wooster College. Also, a big shoutout to Coach Collins for leading her team to the state tournament every year she has been head coach! The Lima Catholic CommUNITY Schools are partnering with WOCAP to provide an opportunity for all of our parents/guardians to discuss the hot topics that we are all facing with parenting. This program includes 10 sessions where parents/guardians will have the opportunity to socialize and share strategies. All resources/workbooks and snacks/drinks are provided at no cost to you. Location will be determined based on the number of participants, but all sessions will be at one of our local Catholic Schools. (Families with open children services cases are not eligible to participate at this time.) Incentives will also be available! The juniors had the opportunity to strengthen their faith and build closer connections with their classmates during their retreat. This experience is a significant step in both their spiritual and personal growth!

Lima Central Catholic was saddened to hear the passing of, Mr. James (Jim) Carder, a cherished member of our Lima Central Catholic family, who dedicated countless years of service to our school. Anatomy and Physiology reviewed macromolecules by playing a game. Students had to correctly place examples or descriptions of proteins, carbohydrates, nucleic acids and lipids under each heading on the board. Yellow team won both rounds! To end Start with Hello week students passed on the positivity with positive notes clipped on each other. They were encouraged to pass it on. Also, today, we had our Walk and Talk Suicide Prevention Walk. Seniors were paired with freshmen, and juniors were paired with sophomores. These will be their buddies that they meet with throughout the school year. It was great to see so many new connections made!
