Dear Friends of LCC,

It is with great pleasure that I welcome you to the Lima Central Catholic website. LCC is a special community, well known for providing a faith-based education, challenging academic offerings and competitive athletic programs. We encourage our students to embrace the high school experience and take advantage of the opportunities to Lead, Serve and Excel as a student at Lima Central Catholic.

Over the last few years, LCC has started each school year with a school-wide theme, some of which have included: “Start Something that Matters,” “Use the Power of Your Word in the Direction of Truth and Love,” “If it Doesn’t Challenge You, it Doesn’t Change You,” “Rise Up, Soar Above,” and “Rebuild the Nest.” School themes aim to boost school spirit and unite a school community around a central idea, where common language will allow students, faculty and staff to connect through meaningful discussions, reflections, and actions. After working on a strategic plan as well as developing accreditation goals over the last year, we are set on “Stick to the Plan” for the 2022-23 school year theme. Both of these initiatives are five-year plans that outline goals for our staff and students and were created by the staff, members of the school governing board, and other stakeholders. It will be important that we use our new S.O.A.R.  (Spiritual, Opportunity, Achievement, Resiliency) period at the end of the day to allow time to adequately plan, track progress and measure our growth towards these goals. This time will also be used to meet with students individually while encouraging them to work toward their goals, hold class meetings and other school events, receive one-on-one academic support, and allow for some of the school groups/clubs to meet.

Although I hope our website conveys the passion and enthusiasm of our dynamic community, I hope that you’ll come for a visit and witness the many ways our students Lead, Serve and Excel.
