Quiz Bowl is a game in which two teams compete head-to-head to answer questions from all areas of knowledge including history, literature, science, arts, current events, pop culture, sports, etc.

Lima Central Catholic sponsors varsity and junior varsity Quiz Bowl teams that compete in matches with 12-15 area schools in the Black Swamp League and invitational tournaments.

The Quiz Bowl season runs roughly from September through February. The teams meet weekly beginning in mid-September to prepare for the competitions that are held mostly in November through January.
