What does the Development Office do for a Catholic high school?

It can mean growing enrollment, raising money for new program(s) or facilities, communicating with alumni and the greater Catholic Community to fill the needs for this school. So it stands to reason, in order to do our job properly, we work on Marketing the school to increase enrollment and help raise money.  We are active with Alumni Affairs in order to communicate the financial needs to some of our greatest benefactors, our alumni. We actively work with business and community leaders, grant programs, partner parish members, our parents, and our alumni to raise money to fulfill the needs or the school.  That’s a big job and we cannot do it without your help.

What should you do?

  • Pray! Please pray for our students, teachers, staff and parents that we are successful in completing the tasks God is asking from each of us here at LCC.
  • Help spread the word about our great school!  You can do that by telling others about LCC as we all work to grow our enrollment and by keeping your contact information updated with us here at this office, and encouraging others to do the same.
  • Consider a donation today!  We know everyone cannot always give large amounts of money.  If you believe in the mission of LCC, then any donation at any time is significant to us.

LCC utilizes the President/Principal model of school management.  As President, Walt focuses a good amount of his time and attention on advancement issues. He often meets with donors and community and church leaders on related issues.

Cami is responsible for leading the school’s advancement and fundraising programs, alumni relations, heading special projects and working closely with other LCC department heads. She is uniquely qualified for this position as she served most recently as LCC’s Director of Finance from 2012-2015 , has worked closely with other community members through her involvement with Lima’s Junior Service League and St. Charles School Advisory Board, and formerly worked as an accountant in private industry. She and her husband, Will, are both LCC graduates and active parent volunteers at St. Charles where both of their sons attend elementary school.

Karen retired from working for a political party organization only to return to assist her high school alma mater with data management.  Karen loves what many of us find mundane: compiling, organizing and recording data. Need to update your personal information?
